The entire MCC team was brought together to put their stamp on the process and identified the behaviors that they believed would create an atmosphere, work environment and company culture that will allow everyone who works for MCC to personally enjoy and to professionally thrive.

Championship Culture

At Meyer Contracting, we strive to be different and have worked hard to develop a “Championship Culture” where our values of respect, empathy, specificity and genuineness are reflected daily from the president to the laborer.

Chris Meyer’s commitment to excellence trickles down to the training and atmosphere he wants to provide his company. Chris hired a consultant Skip Weisman to assist in creating this culture.

The leadership team, with Skip’s help, worked hard at looking at MCC very critically and identifying the type of company and work environment they would like MCC to aspire to.

Together they made a commitment through the leadership of Chris to raising the bar on expectations for themselves and all team members regarding attitude, communication and performance.

The entire MCC team was brought together to put their stamp on the process and identified the behaviors that they believed would create an atmosphere, work environment and company culture that will allow everyone who works for MCC to personally enjoy and to professionally thrive.

The process started with creating a compelling Vision for the company, which is driven by three things

  • A powerful Mission and Purpose that is the focal point of every decision and action the company takes.
  • Company Values to which all present team members are expected to work towards and are held accountable in fulfilling and against which all new hires will be evaluated.
  • Our Mission is: To Construct Exceptional Environments & Buildings that Enhance Our Community

Meyer Contracting's 4 Core Dimensions of a Champion Organization

  • Respect
  • Empathy
  • Specificity
  • Genuineness

We believe that a Championship Culture

  • Is recognized throughout its community as one that continually adds value
  • Is recognized as a company whose ownership and employees give back to their community
  • Has a highly engaged, empowered and enthused team of professionals
  • Has a work culture that attracts and retains the best professionals in the industry
  • Branches out into related fields for which it has the talent and expertise to add even more value
  • Has a work culture where all team members appreciate their unique, individual contribution to the Meyer Vision & Purpose.
