Originally built in the early 1800s, the Pleasant Valley Mill had fallen to ruins before Meyer Contracting was hired to restore the mill building for town office space and develop the property into a park and memorial.

Restoration of Pleasant Valley Mill to be used as Town Offices for local Historian. Repair and re-pointing of exterior masonry as well as replication of interior period moldings and trim was done. Creating of new park including fishing pier, memorial mall, sitting areas and extensive gardens with walking paths. Masons used salvaged mill stone material to rebuild stone walls surrounding gardens which act as a barrier from Route 44. Replication of wrought iron gates to match photographs and artists paintings from old mill.
